Grailed charges sellers two separate fees on every sale:
Seller commission (tiered): For sales at or above $120, the rate is 9% (Standard). For sales under $120, the rate is 6% with a minimum of $1.99 (Reduced, effective May 20, 2026). The commission applies to the sale price — which includes the buyer's shipping unless you use a Grailed Label.
Payment processing fee: 3.49% + $0.49 for US sellers onboarded with Stripe, charged on every transaction. International Stripe sellers pay 4.99% + $0.49.
There are no listing fees. Grailed Bump promotions (paid listing boosts) are optional and are not included in the standard fees above.

Yes. Grailed charges a separate payment processing fee on all transactions, in addition to the seller commission. US sellers onboarded with Stripe pay 3.49% + $0.49 per transaction. International Stripe sellers pay 4.99% + $0.49. Sellers in non-Stripe countries pay 4.99% + $0.49 by default. These fees are separate from and on top of the tiered seller commission.
What is the Grailed fee threshold and how does it work?
The $120 threshold determines which commission rate applies. If your sale price (listing price + buyer shipping, unless you use a Grailed Label) is $120 or more, you pay 9%. If under $120, you pay 6% with a minimum of $1.99. This means a $119 item costs 6% = $7.14 commission, while a $120 item costs 9% = $10.80 — pricing near the threshold matters.
Does Grailed charge fees on shipping?
Yes — unless you use a Grailed Label. When a buyer pays shipping, that amount is included in the sale price used to calculate Grailed's commission and processing fee. For example: $80 listing + $10 buyer shipping = $90 sale price, and fees apply to the full $90. If you use a Grailed Label, only the listing price counts as the sale price for fee purposes.
What is a Grailed Label and how does it affect fees?
A Grailed Label is a prepaid shipping label purchased through Grailed. When you use one, Grailed calculates your seller commission based on the listing price only — not the listing price plus shipping. This can reduce your fee base if shipping is significant. Without a Grailed Label, the sale price includes whatever shipping the buyer pays.
Does Grailed charge listing fees?
No. Listing on Grailed is free. You only pay the tiered seller commission and the payment processing fee when an item actually sells. You are not charged upfront to post listings.
How do I calculate my payout after Grailed fees?
Net payout = listing price − seller commission − payment processing fee. Example: $200 listing, $15 buyer shipping, no Grailed Label → sale price = $215; commission = 9% × $215 = $19.35; processing = 3.49% × $215 + $0.49 = $8.00; payout = $200 − $19.35 − $8.00 = $172.65. Is Grailed cheaper than other resale platforms for streetwear?
It depends on the price point. For a $150 item (no shipping): Grailed total fees ≈ 9% commission + 3.49% processing + $0.49 = about 12.5% + $0.49. Compare to eBay's 13.6% + $0.40 or Poshmark's 20%. Grailed is competitive for mid-range streetwear, especially since cheaper items under $120 get a lower 6% commission rate.
